Exclusive Field Day Interview Snippet Part II
Field Day interview snippet part II is here. Field Day are still going strong. This incarnation features two of the four members of the Dag Nasty Wig out At Denkos line up. Classic DC hardcore in tone and delivery. Peter Cortner and Doug Carrion keep the spirit of old school Dag. In the last few years, despite global chaos, they have maintained playing the classic material of Dag Nasty. Additionally, Field Day easily has an entire album if not more worth of new material.
If that is not enough Field Day keep getting better and better as this newer material is marinating and seasoning over time.

Along with Shay Mehdrad on guitar, Kevin Avery on drums, Field Day keep wigging out. They have successfully captured their live energy on several releases spanning 2020 til ’22. Watch for more from this band.
This is part II of the interview I did in late February 2020. In order to get the full effect of audio interview, check out part I here https://meatsheetfanzine.com/field-day-positive-punk/
Field Day played a great show full of positivity. Since then, they have gained some serious momentum. They’ve toured as much as possible despite the uncertainty of a pandemic ebb and surge. Be sure to check out the exclusive snippet part one and my printed zine that contains a transcription of the whole interview with Doug. Peter did pop in and out of the questioning which is awesome. I gained insight first hand on what was going on with Dag Nasty’s Field Day LP. Moreover, what was goin on prior leading up to that plus squeaky van seat sounds.
