Blog Readers Have Spoken: Strange Horseshit

Here are three more email commentaries. What a cruel summer. So far got a good barrage of feedback. Here are two that really stretch the string bean. The other reference a previous email about a powerful band and demo. https://meatsheetfanzine.com/funniest-email-demo-review/

Just read the review for the Talented Tips & The Luke Agward Band demo and I’ve got to say.

That is some real strange horse shit!

Where do people come up with such buffoonery? Let me also say, those band members are some serious Short Stacks! I’ve seen bite sized people playing in a Kiss cover band and it’s a real crack up, but these guys sound like they’re doing all original material, so kudos to those nibbly knees if they are indeed legitimate rockers. Buffoonery or not, the Talented Tips and their frontman, Luke Agward has my attention! I’ll be searching every which way but loose for this damn “Blender Twinks” demo and may god be my witness, I will rock out with my sock out to it! All Yours – Lou O’Breezy

Yo Meat Slab, wanted to let you know that I recently caught a Talented Tips & The Luke Agward Band gig at The Formaldehyde in old Wressler Back. Man, I gotta tell ya, that is one powerful unit. They kick caskets from head to toe and really left me bruised and broken by the time they wrapped up their set. Luke is a tiny frontman, but he packs a gigantic punch. His vox run deeper than a Pinto down the Monshuwalo, I mean it’s just ridiculous. This guy has so  much deepness in his voice that he makes Lurch sound like a fuzzy lipped panzer.

Oh yeah and when Luke announced the track, “Fraudulent Flatulence” and went in depth into the meaning of this song, he had the entire bar scratching their heads and eventually passing wind without regret or shame.

Truly an eye opening revelation. Also, “Flank Sauce on an Oatmeal Pod” ripped my heart out and got my feet prancin’! I’d definitely check this powerhouse out again.

Apparently all of their demos were sold out, so I couldn’t purchase one, but I mixed it up with their guitarist, Skrimp Johnson and we exchanged phone numbers, so we’re hoping to catch up over mixed drinks and some tough BBQ and hopefully I can score a demo. If all goes well, I’ll report back in. Have a thundery and blistering day. – Falcon Schmidt
